Amber's history has a lot of details..the band was founded in 1995, in Armenia by Art, and then they moved to Russia. Their musical style changed over thrash, heavy, progressive, death metal, and finally, folk/power metal. Amber has only one original member who still in the band at these days.

It's interesting (and neccesary) hear them and draw our own conclusions about.
About the last album, they say: "Actually this release has separated the band music into two parts: a) music intended for listeners that prefer traditional western music with eastern ethnic metal melodic performed en English and b) music specially for listeners who are fond of Slavonic ethno-metal music".
